I finally have the chance to make a fun and carefree post about my travels but I’m actually pretty sad right now and the internet access is making me miss all my friends. Endless bummer, 2012.

I could name so many great and fun things that have happened today, but the highlight will always be Jess Ward (of jessicawardphotography fame) singing/rapping/choreographing a dance to Never Say Never.

Yes! Especially when I ignore how anxious I am about it. I fly to the Gold Coast on the 21st, then to Tokyo on the 22nd. This will actually be my face the entire time I’m there though:

There are too many unsupervised youths and dudes drinking on the street at 4pm asking “wanna root?” for my liking.
Somebody just tried to prank call me at work but I call him frequently enough to recognise his number and called him out immediately and it was the most hilarious thing because what 50 year old man puts on an Indian accent and prank calls people??
Franklin the Turtle
Does everyone remember that show Franklin The Turtle who was actually a fucking tortoise because he had legs but whatevz. My favourite episode was the one where the moral of the story was that digging through rubbish is okay because ~~one man’s trash is another man’s treasure~~ and Franklin found some old rusty piece of shit and some other animal’s parent was like ‘All that needs is some elbow grease!’ and Franklin says (all excitedly) ‘I’ll buy some at the store!’ and then the other animals are like ‘Lol no, silly turtle, you don’t BUY it’ and then he runs home and cries.
Aaaaaaaahh!!
